Coaching for Success

Designed for anyone who coaches in work or outside of work and who has little formal training
behind them. The programme will look at the benefits of a coaching approach and provide the
participants with a coaching model and a feedback model together with practical application in
how to use the models to gain results.

Conflict Management

Designed for all managers or staff required to handle conflict in the workplace. Participants will
consider the causes of conflict and identify the signs while understanding their contribution to
conflict. We will look at how to control the conversation and manage the response effectively, while
acknowledging emotions and seeking to solve the issue.

Presentation Skills

Designed for those who are required to deliver presentations and who have little or no experience of
doing so. The programme will cover building a presentation, personal presentation, engaging your
audience, delivering your message and overcoming barriers to success. Participants will have the
opportunity to see themselves present throughout the day and track their progress before creating
their own development plan to take away with them.

Designed for managers and staff required to assess and interview potential candidates. This
programme will cover competency based interviewing and assessment centre skills. Participants will
learn how to question, listen and appraise candidates in an interview situation and also how to
assess effectively at assessment centres through observation and listening skills.

Team Leading

Designed for front line team leaders or new to role line managers. Participants will consider
Leadership versus Management and their characteristics, motivation, delegation, goal setting,
performance, difficult conversations and growing their teams.

Time Management

Designed for managers and staff who would benefit from improving their time management skills.
Participants will understand ‘time bandits’, learn how to prioritise their work, both short and long
term and minimise distractions in the workplace and how to harness their own motivation.

Absence Management

Designed for managers and staff who have a role in managing and supporting absence management.
Participants will look at the importance of effective tracking and categorisation of absence, keeping
in touch, effective return to work interviews, reasonable adjustment, phased returns to work and
strategies for reducing absence in the workplace.

Appraisal Skills & Objective Setting

Designed for all managers expected to deliver appraisals and set objectives for their teams.
Participants will explore the purpose of appraisals and learn how to deliver impactful feedback,
while understanding the role of self-assessment and SMART objectives and how to design them.

Change Management

Designed for all managers and staff who have a responsibility to manage change or lead through
change. Participants will look at the reasons for change, individual’s reaction to change and
strategies to deal with these together with stakeholder management and RASCI, leadership
behaviours required to effect successful change and make it stick.
